This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect data when restaurant owners ("Vendors"), their staff, and their dining customers use the Eatriko platform.

We collect information necessary to operate restaurant billing, orders, and management:
A. Restaurant & Account Information
When a vendor registers for Eatriko, we collect restaurant business names, physical store addresses, contact email addresses, phone numbers, branch configurations, menu items, prices, and tax/service charge preferences.
B. Staff & Operational Information
Staff member names, assigned operational roles (cashier, waiter, kitchen staff, admin), login credentials, work attendance records, and leave history logged directly within the vendor portal.
C. Order & Transaction Information
Details of orders placed via POS or digital QR menus, including items ordered, subtotal, discounts, applied taxes, table numbers, timestamps, and chosen payment methods (e.g. Cash, bKash, Nagad, Card).
D. Customer Dining & Delivery Information
For online ordering and in-house delivery dispatch, customer contact numbers, delivery addresses, and feedback are collected strictly to fulfill orders and enable loyalty tracking.
E. Technical, Session & Cookie Information
IP addresses, browser type, device information, and session authentication cookies essential to keep vendors and staff securely logged in to their workspace.
3. How We Use Collected Information
- To provide, maintain, and securely execute POS billing, KOT printing, and order routing.
- To deliver daily sales and profit summary reports via automated SMS to vendor-designated mobile numbers.
- To compute accurate profit & loss (P&L) calculations, inventory deductions, and expense tracking.
- To notify kitchen and floor staff in real time of table requests, online orders, and customer calls.
- To provide technical troubleshooting and software customer support.
4. Payment Information Handling
Eatriko does not collect or store sensitive credit card numbers or banking PINs on its servers. When restaurant subscription fees are processed, or when digital ordering payments occur, transactions are processed through authorized payment gateway partners or direct bank/MFS transfers (bKash/Nagad/Rocket).
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on trusted third-party infrastructure to deliver essential SaaS features:
- SMS & Telecommunications Gateways: Dispatches automated daily business summary SMS, verification OTPs, and transactional alerts to authorized phone numbers.
- SMTP Mail Infrastructure: Delivers system email alerts, password resets, daily business summary reports, and account receipts.
- Cloud Infrastructure & Security: High-availability cloud servers, DDoS mitigation, and SSL/TLS encryption in transit.
6. Data Security & Retention
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards:
- All web traffic between clients and servers is encrypted using modern HTTPS (TLS).
- Passwords are hashed using salted cryptographic functions (bcrypt) and never stored in plain text.

Restaurant owners maintain complete ownership of their menu, order history, and business data. You may:
